This Privacy Policy describes how ParentLink (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in the ParentLink mobile application for iOS and Android.

The app is for parents and guardians, not for children to use themselves. It shows information that the education centre already keeps about the linked student (attendance, photos taken at the centre, grades, timetable, notifications).
1. Data we collect from the app

We do not collect contacts, photos from your camera roll, microphone audio, precise advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID for ads), or payment card data in this app. In-app payments are not offered. The app does not include an advertising or analytics SDK.
2. Student data shown in the app
After you sign in and select a student profile, we display data that the education centre recorded:
- Student name / profile label
- Entry and exit times
- Entry and exit photos taken by the centre’s cameras (not by your phone camera)
- Grades, teacher notes, timetable, academic indicators
- Notifications sent by the centre
- Parent subscription expiry for the app
Deleting the ParentLink account does not delete the student’s school records. Those stay with the education centre.
3. Permissions
- Location (iOS When In Use / Android coarse + fine): optional. Used only to list nearby courses. You can refuse; the catalogue still works without distance.
- Notifications (iOS alerts/sound / Android POST_NOTIFICATIONS): optional. Used for centre alerts. You can refuse; the rest of the app still works.
- No camera, photo library, contacts, Bluetooth, or tracking (App Tracking Transparency) permission is requested.
4. Data stored on the device
- Login token and phone number in the OS secure store (Keychain / Android Keystore via SecureStore)
- Onboarding flags, last coordinates, push token, and app install ID in local app storage
Uninstalling the app removes on-device data. The server account remains until you delete it in Profile → Delete account, or ask us at [email protected].

We do not sell personal data. We do not use data for third-party advertising. Location is not used for ads.
6. Retention
- OTP codes: until they expire or are used
- Parent account, push tokens, install ID / last location: while the account exists
- Course enquiries: until the centre no longer needs them for follow-up
- Student attendance, photos, grades: retained by the education centre under its own records
7. Account deletion
In the app: Profile → Delete account. This deletes the parent account, that phone’s in-app notifications, Expo push tokens, and login sessions. It does not delete students, attendance, photos, or grades at the centre.
You can also email [email protected] and ask us to delete the parent account.
8. Children
The app is intended for adults. We process a child’s education data only so the linked parent can see it. We do not knowingly let children create their own ParentLink accounts.
9. Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date at the top is the latest version. The same policy applies to both iOS and Android.

- Mərkəzin kameralarında çəkilmiş giriş-çıxış şəkilləri (telefon kamerası ilə deyil)
- Qiymətlər, müəllim qeydləri, dərs cədvəli, akademik göstəricilər
- Mərkəzin göndərdiyi bildirişlər
- Tətbiq abunəsinin bitmə tarixi
ParentLink hesabını silmək tələbənin kurs qeydlərini silmir. Onlar təhsil mərkəzində qalır.
3. İcazələr
- Məkan (iOS When In Use / Android coarse + fine): istəyə bağlıdır. Yalnız yaxın kursları göstərmək üçündür. İmtina etsəniz, kataloq məsafəsiz də işləyir.
- Bildirişlər (iOS / Android POST_NOTIFICATIONS): istəyə bağlıdır. Mərkəz xəbərdarlıqları üçündür. İmtina etsəniz, qalan funksiyalar işləyir.
- Kamera, qalereya, kontakt, Bluetooth və izləmə (App Tracking Transparency) icazəsi soruşulmur.
4. Cihazda saxlanan məlumat
- Giriş tokeni və telefon nömrəsi OS təhlükəsiz anbarında (Keychain / Android Keystore)
- Onboarding bayraqları, son koordinatlar, push token və quraşdırma ID-si lokal yaddaşda
Tətbiqi siləndə cihazdakı məlumat silinir. Server hesabı Profil → Hesabı sil deyənə qədər, və ya [email protected] ünvanına yazana qədər qalır.

Şəxsi məlumat satılmır. Üçüncü tərəf reklamı üçün istifadə olunmur. Məkan reklam üçün istifadə olunmur.
6. Saxlama müddəti
- OTP kodları: vaxtı bitənə və ya istifadə olunana qədər
- Valideyn hesabı, push tokenlər, quraşdırma ID / son məkan: hesab durduqca
- Kurs müraciətləri: mərkəz əlaqə üçün ehtiyac duyduğu müddət
- Davamiyyət, şəkillər, qiymətlər: təhsil mərkəzinin öz qeydlərində
7. Hesabın silinməsi
Tətbiqdə: Profil → Hesabı sil. Valideyn hesabı, həmin nömrənin tətbiq bildirişləri, Expo push tokenləri və sessiyalar silinir. Tələbə, davamiyyət, şəkil və qiymətlər mərkəzdə qalır.
Həmçinin [email protected] ünvanına yazıb valideyn hesabının silinməsini istəyə bilərsiniz.
8. Uşaqlar
Tətbiq böyüklər üçündür. Uşağın təhsil məlumatı yalnız bağlı valideynin görməsi üçün işlənir. Uşaqların öz ParentLink hesabı açmasına icazə vermirik.
9. Dəyişikliklər
Tətbiqin məlumat təcrübəsi dəyişəndə bu səhifə yenilənəcək. Üstdəki tarix son versiyadır. Eyni siyasət həm iOS, həm Android üçün keçərlidir.
